The Vålerenga goalkeeper was injured during this weekend's match against Lyn, and on Tuesday it was announced that she had been forced to withdraw from Sweden's World Cup qualifiers, where the national team will face Denmark away in a decisive match and then Italy at home.
On Wednesday, Vålerenga announced that 31-year-old Enblom had suffered a long-term injury.
"It is unfortunately confirmed that Tove Enblom sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the match against Lyn. This is, of course, a heavy blow for Tove and the club," Vålerenga writes on its website.
