Norway and Team Kjaerland started best and took an early lead. Sweden, however, turned the match around midway and caught up and took the lead in the fifth round.

After a mistake in the sixth, Norway equalized, 3–3. The teams then took one point each before Sweden, in the final round, and with the final stone, could secure the premiere win with 6–4.

It wasn't as tough against Turkey. Sweden led 5–0 before Turkey took its only point in the match in the sixth round. In the end, Team Hasselborg won with a clear 8–1.

On Sunday, Canada and Denmark await.
