The mother of one of America's biggest TV stars has been missing for several days. Police have found clues suggesting she may have been abducted.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing from her Arizona home on Sunday. Police sources told the AP that investigators suspect she did not leave the home voluntarily.

Nancy Guthrie's daughter is Savannah Guthrie, the longtime anchor of NBC's "Today" morning show. She has stepped down from covering the Winter Olympics in Italy to be with her family.

Nancy Guthrie has difficulty walking and is in need of medication. Several media outlets have received ransom demands from people claiming to be involved, but police have not commented on whether those demands are considered credible.
