Besara has been in Hammarby for more than six seasons over two stints, and now it is clear that it will be two seasons more. The 34-year-old has extended his contract with the club until 2027.
"This club means incredibly much to me," says Besara in a statement.
The contract also includes that the midfielder will be part of Hammarby's sports organization after his player career.
"It feels of course fantastic that we have reached this agreement and that we get to enjoy his play for at least two more years, and we look very much forward to continuing our cooperation with Nahir after he has ended his own player career," says Hammarby's sports manager Mikael Hjelmberg on the club's website.
Besara leads the Allsvenskan scoring league with 15 goals with four rounds left to play. On Sunday, the 34-year-old plays his 183rd league match for Hammarby when the club hosts AIK at home.
