The Spanish tennis giant, who recently retired, writes on Linkedin that he is not behind the videos on the net where an AI-generated copy of him gives false investment advice.
"I have discovered that false videos are circulating on some platforms. They have been made with AI and show a figure that imitates my appearance and my voice and that comes with investment advice or suggestions that do not in any case come from me", writes Nadal.
He writes about the challenge of learning to distinguish between what is real and what is manipulated.
"AI is a tool with enormous potential but can also mislead, create false content that can create confusion and deceive many people", means Nadal.
