The military junta pressed ahead with hundreds of airstrikes while large parts of the country were affected by floods in August.
According to data compiled by the opposition Myanmar National Unity Government (NUG), 239 airstrikes were carried out between August 8 and 23 in 11 regions.
The central region of Sagaing was hit hard, with nearly 40 people killed, and a school and two hospitals completely destroyed in the wave of attacks.
The EU has decided on an additional 10.5 million euros, around 120 million kronor, for humanitarian aid due to the junta's escalating violence.
Civil war has plagued Myanmar since 2021.
