The 19-year-old striker Älvali Lindström was recruited to Malmö from Uppsala less than a month ago. Her first goal came in the match against Vålerenga. Defender Emma Petrovic intercepted a pass in her own half, Larkin Russell picked up the ball and sent it in front of goal, where Lindström tapped in the 1-0 in the 32nd minute.
Norwegian Vålerenga pushed forward in the final stages of the match and created several good chances. But MFF goalkeeper Zecira Musovic saved her team several times and kept a clean sheet until the end.
