Now, former national team goalkeeper Zecira Musovic (27 international caps) has made her debut for MFF in the women's Swedish league.
Newcomer Uppsala didn't get a single shot against the 29-year-old. Isabella D'Aquila, Amy Sayer and Mia Persson were responsible for the MFF goals in front of 1,139 spectators.
"I'm quite satisfied with our defensive play over 90 minutes," coach Jonas Valfridsson tells Viaplay.
Musovic was pregnant when she signed for MFF last year after several years at London club Chelsea. In August, she became the mother of a daughter.
The goalkeeper was a key player when Sweden won the World Cup bronze in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and she won several Swedish championship gold medals with Malmö rival Rosengård between 2013 and 2020.
