State support for Kista Folk High School is being stopped. The reason is, among other things, that the school has failed to respect human rights and fundamental democratic values, reports the Altinget .

The school, which is run with a Muslim profile and has just over 500 students, will lose its government grants with immediate effect, according to a board minutes from the Swedish Council for Popular Education.

The decision also states that the school may not "conduct or promote anti-democratic activities."
