The upgraded version of the giant Starship rocket was supposed to launch earlier this week, but after worries at the - literally - last minute, the event had to be postponed.
On Saturday night, local time in Sweden, the rocket was finally able to lift off from Texas for its test mission. The launch has been described as very important for SpaceX, which is moving toward a stock market listing in the near future. Its CEO is Elon Musk, the world's richest person.
Starship is intended to be used, among other things, for NASA's planned lunar missions.
