When the boy, who is under 15, disappeared, police received information that he had taken on an assignment from a criminal network. Searches were conducted in Skåne and in Denmark before he was found.
The boy has been taken back to the HVB home and is not suspected of any crime.
However, he is the plaintiff in a case classified as involving youth in crime. There is also a case classified as murder that we have opened to investigate whether there is anything to the claim that he would have taken on an assignment, says police spokesman Thomas Johansson.
There are no suspects in the case.
