In connection with the deaths, the police stated that there was no indication that any outsider was involved. A preliminary murder investigation was opened, and now the prosecutor has chosen to close it.
"There is currently nothing to suggest that anyone other than the suspect caused the victim's injuries. Since the suspect is deceased, there is no longer any reason to continue the preliminary investigation," says senior prosecutor Hanna Flordal in a press release.
