During the third quarter, Munters, which supplies cooling systems to data centers, among other things, received orders worth SEK 7 billion.
"DCT (Data Center Technologies) was an important contributing factor, with order intake more than doubling compared with the previous year - clearly outpacing growth in the already exceptionally strong underlying data center market," CEO Stefan Aspman writes in the quarterly report.
But so far, it has had a limited impact on the results. Operating profit rose by 2 percent to 391 million kronor, while sales increased by 18 percent to 4.5 billion kronor.
"However, our financial performance remains mixed, as the ramp-up of production and component shortages affect operational efficiency and profitability within DCT," the CEO writes.
