In the Valencia region, over 90 fatalities have been confirmed dead after Tuesday evening's and night's heavy rainfall, the rescue service reported late on Wednesday.
The official death toll in Spain had then risen to 95 fatalities.

In the region of Castile-La Mancha, west of Valencia, several people are also missing. Rescue personnel in Letur, one of the region's municipalities, have searched during the night with the help of drones.
The Spanish government set up a crisis committee late on Tuesday to take necessary measures.
In a televised speech, Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez promised to take "all necessary resources" to help the affected.
