Four people have been killed and dozens injured in a Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region on Monday, according to the region's governor.
"At least four people were killed and 34 injured – these are preliminary reports on the attack on Pokrovsk. Among the injured are two children, 12 and 13 years old. They are moderately to seriously injured," says Ukrainian governor Vadym Filasjkin on social media.
In the Ukrainian port city of Odessa, a Russian cruise missile has hit a warehouse, according to Ukraine's air force. Three people are reported to have been injured and a large fire has broken out. Another cruise missile was shot down, according to the air force.
Odessa, on the Black Sea in southern Ukraine, a port city crucial for Ukrainian exports, has been subjected to repeated Russian drone and missile attacks since the invasion in 2022.
Reports of Russian attacks are also coming from the Ukrainian regions of Kherson and Kharkiv, writes AFP.
