An Israeli drone has launched an attack on a tent that housed Palestinians fleeing near Khan Yunis, reports Gaza's civil defense.
At least twelve people were killed, including several women and children, says spokesman Mahmud Bassal to AFP.
According to a medical source in Gaza, at least 18 people were killed in an Israeli attack on a school west of Khan Yunis. It is unclear whether it is the same attack.
Israel has also attacked a hospital in Dayr al-Balah in central Gaza, reports Qatari Al-Araby Al-Jadeed. There are no reports of casualties or fatalities yet.
According to health authorities in Hamas-controlled Gaza, the total for the past 24 hours is approaching 100. An additional 440 people have been injured during the same period.
