Ten people, including four children, have been trampled to death in Nigeria's capital Abuja. It happened in connection with a local church distributing food at a Christmas event, which attracted large crowds, according to the police.
The incident occurred early in the morning, and more than 1,000 people have been evacuated from the church.
Some people who were injured are still receiving treatment.
This is the second time this week that people have been trampled to death in Nigeria. After panic broke out at a temporary amusement park in southwestern Nigeria on Wednesday, at least 35 children died.
