Several Swedish concert halls have conducted a security investigation of the dance company, writes SVT News West. The investigation was carried out by an external security company, which has concluded that links to the Russian state cannot be ruled out.
The Heritage Ballet has also not distanced itself from Russia's war against Ukraine, unlike other similar ballet companies.
Malmö Live also writes on its website that the performance is cancelled, with the reference: "The decision is in accordance with the government's recommendations for a strict stance towards collaborations with Russian actors".
According to Göteborgs Konserthus, all Swedish concert halls will cancel performances with the dance group.
