Mudryk had not played a football match since November 2024 due to a doping suspension, but was given the go-ahead to resume his football career on Friday after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) lifted the suspension.
Against Juventus in a friendly match in Hong Kong, the Ukrainian was substituted in the 82nd minute and was met with applause from both players and spectators.
"He was clearly overjoyed. After such a long period, it's a fantastic feeling for him to be back on the pitch," says Xabi Alonso.
Chelsea lost the match 0-1.
