Since last week, a number of opinion polls have shown declining voter support for the MP, after the party last week released a calculation suggesting that fuel prices are expected to increase by six kronor per litre instead of four if it is allowed to decide.
Simona Mohamsson (L) writes on social media that "Amanda Lind should get an honesty award" and that the other red-green leaders should follow suit.
Amanda Lind and Daniel Helldén, who meet voters in Stockholm on Saturday, say they do not regret their honesty.
Helldén says they often hear from voters that they are “clear and distinct,” and Lind agrees.
"We are also worried and concerned that the numbers are starting to go down. We have seen in previous election campaigns that we lose in the final sprint, perhaps because people have taken us for granted," says Lind.
When asked if there is anything that the other red-greens should speak out about regarding Mohamsson's post, Helldén says that their side "does a good job," especially compared with the Tidö parties.
But it is quite obvious that we are the central part of climate policy in a future government, he says and adds:
But of course, sometimes you can feel that you should have a little more support. That everyone stands for the description of reality that actually applies, that is correct.
Amanda Lind says that "all parties on the red-green side stand behind the climate goals."
But only we have the politics to make it happen.
