A motorcyclist in his 30s was seriously injured when he collided with a car on highway 110 near Bjuv east of Helsingborg.
The police were alerted to the accident at 16.21 on Sunday. The motorcycle driver was taken to hospital by ambulance and according to Region Skåne, the injuries are serious.
The driver of the car tested positive in a breath test and is suspected of drunk driving.
The road was closed during the rescue and clearance work but was later reopened to traffic.
