The accident occurred at 3 p.m. on County Road 173.
Early in the evening, police announced that the motorcycle rider had died in the accident. The driver of the passenger car was slightly injured.
The police have filed a report of negligent driving causing death. The vehicles involved have been seized for a technical examination.
