"At a show or similar, the rider lost control, fell off the motorcycle and was seriously injured. Then, as I understand it, the motorcycle continued into the audience and hit a person who was also injured," police spokesman Jens Andersson tells TT.
The person in the audience who was hit, a woman, has been taken to hospital by air ambulance in an unclear condition.
The police cannot say exactly what type of event it was, but many people appear to have been there.
"It doesn't seem to be a racetrack," Jens Andersson says.
According to Hallands Nyheter, the motorcycle entered a building, which caught fire. The fire is reported to have been extinguished.
The police are conducting interviews and will seize the motorcycle for technical examination.
The alarm about the accident came just before 6 p.m.
