The alarm came in just before 3:30 a.m. on Friday that a motorcyclist had driven off the road at high speed.
The man was taken to the hospital, but later died as a result of his injuries, the police said on their website on Saturday.
The police have, as is routine, opened a preliminary investigation into negligent driving.
