The accident occurred when the car was going to pass the motorcycle.
In connection with the overtaking, they collide with each other, which causes the motorcycle to tip over, says the police's press spokesperson Thomas Fuxborg.
The driver of the motorcycle, a man, was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter with life-threatening injuries, according to the police. The passenger, a woman, was also taken to hospital but her injuries are not described as serious.
The alarm came in at 5 pm on Wednesday and the accident will now be investigated.
The car driver is reported to be unharmed.
