There is convincing evidence that the mother-in-law of the woman who was murdered in Eskilstuna in September is guilty, reports SVT Sörmland.
Among other things, there is a recorded phone call where the mother-in-law is suspected of trying to hire a person to carry out the murder.
The evidence points to the mother-in-law being guilty of instigation to murder and conspiracy to murder. The verdict would have been announced on Friday but is postponed – because the mother-in-law will undergo a forensic psychiatric examination.
It was in September 2024 that a 27-year-old woman was found murdered in her home in Eskilstuna. The murder is suspected to be honor-related.
In total, seven people are prosecuted in connection with the murder.
