The crimes, which took place in Ljungby municipality, are described as part of the woman's "child-rearing method". She has now been convicted of locking four of her children in various places in the home, including in a pantry and in a dog cage, on an unknown number of occasions. She has also been convicted of abusing several of her children.
The mother has also been convicted of aggravated unlawful coercion for forcing her daughter's face into horse manure on one occasion in 2019. At the same time, she forced her foster child to chase after and hold her daughter, and has therefore also been convicted of unlawful coercion towards the foster child.
She has also been convicted of several counts of aggravated assault and several counts of child endangerment against her children and a grandchild. The woman has denied all of the crimes and claimed that none of them took place.
She has been acquitted of one count of assault, one count of unlawful coercion, and one count of unlawful deprivation of liberty.
