Shortly after the women were found in their home in Lindesnes municipality on Monday, the police were alerted about another dead person in the same area, a man in his 20s. Hours later, the police stated that the man was suspected of being behind the two previous deaths.
According to the autopsy report, the two women were shot to death, the police now reveal. The man in his 20s – the likely perpetrator – is then said to have left the scene and taken his own life.
According to the police, the perpetrator and the two women had some kind of relationship with each other. However, they do not want to comment on the matter further.
