The Swedish Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits Agency (TLV) updates its list of reference prices annually, taking into account both inflation and technological developments. However, Anna Carin Dahlgren, chairwoman of the Swedish Dental Association, points out that the reference prices are based on old studies and do not take sufficient account of how work has changed.
