In March, police announced that several of IFK Gothenburg's supporter associations should be classified as criminal networks, and prosecutors and police imposed residence bans on ten supporters.

They were then not allowed to be in central Gothenburg the day before “Blåvitt” was to play a match or on match day until 3 a.m. The same applied to several away matches, and the supporters were not allowed to visit the Kamratgården training facility at all.

Now, nine of the ten residence bans have been reviewed in district court and either overturned or significantly reduced.

"I think it is problematic that the police and prosecutors make decisions that clearly lack legal basis," says lawyer Emma Persson, who represented two of the supporters, to GP.
