Last year, Morrissey canceled a series of scheduled gigs around the world. Several concerts in the US and Canada were canceled after a 26-year-old man made death threats against him online, and a planned performance in Turkey was canceled after Morrissey expressed his support for Israel.
He has also canceled shows in South America and Mexico, citing “extreme exhaustion.” That was also the reason he canceled the show at Hovet in Stockholm and his participation in “Allsång på Skansen” this summer.
64-year-old Morrissey broke through with The Smiths in the 1980s.
