Rogers represented England at this summer's World Cup and has previously been linked with Premier League champions Arsenal.
But instead it was another London club. On Tuesday evening, Chelsea presented the 23-year-old.
"I'm so excited. Chelsea is the biggest club in London," Rogers said in a statement on social media.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea will pay 117 million pounds, equivalent to just over 1.5 billion kronor. Morgan Rogers will thus become one of the Premier League's most expensive signings ever.
The contract runs until the summer of 2033, with an option for an additional year.
