The Mixed Team World Cup, an unofficial World Cup for mixed teams if you will, will be held in China in December. Sweden is one of the teams, but is competing without its biggest blue-yellow star, reports Radiosporten .
Truls Möregårdh will not play in the tournament because it is in a bad situation considering the WTT finals in Hong Kong which begin on December 10.
According to Radiosporten, it is a joint decision made by Möregårdh and the women's national team captain Tobias Bergman, who is responsible for the team during the mixed World Cup.
"Mixed team" is a new Olympic event starting with the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles, when the mixed class replaces the separate women's and men's team competitions.
The Swedish team in the World Cup will now be: Filippa Bergand, Linda Bergström, Stina Källberg, Mattias Falck, Anton Källberg and Kristian Karlsson.
