An Islamist group attacked a town in Borno State in northeastern Nigeria on Friday and kidnapped more than 300 people, including several women and children, reports AP.
A local official told the news agency that the kidnapping is likely revenge for a military operation in which three people from the Boko Haram terrorist movement were killed.
