Hertz does not want to say how many suspects there are, but they are also suspected of insider trading related to the company Raysearch.
Günther Mårder was arrested in mid-April on suspicion of having encouraged another person to trade shares in Raysearch. He is suspected of four counts of aggravated insider trading between 2024 and 2026, but denies the charges. He was released on April 29 but remains a suspect.
Mårder was appointed by the government in 2023 as a board member of the Swedish Public Employment Service, a position he resigned from after the suspicions emerged. He has previously been CEO of the interest groups Aktiespararna and Företagarna.
A decision on the indictment is expected "at the end of the summer or after the summer," according to Hertz.
