Since earlier, a man in his 20s has been arrested, suspected of aggravated rape of a child at a preschool in Flen, which was reported on Tuesday. Now, the municipality reports that more suspected cases have come to light.

After yesterday (Tuesday), new police reports have been filed from the same preschool, says municipal chief Håkan Bergsten at a press conference, according to Eskilstuna-kuriren.

They do not want to disclose how many new reports have been filed, but that they concern suspected sexual assaults.

We take what has happened very seriously, says Bergsten.

The preschool is open and has extra staff on site. School chief Henrik Ljungqvist says that the municipality will review its routines, including those related to working alone.

The case that was previously discovered is believed to have occurred on October 1, and a man was arrested as a suspect on probable grounds on Sunday. He is suspected of subjecting a girl to a serious sexual offense. The man denies any wrongdoing.
