"It's scary. I want to work as a preschool teacher my whole life." A preschool teacher who suffers from hypersensitivity in one ear told the radio.
In the last ten years, 333 preschool teachers and teachers have reported suffering hearing damage, according to figures from the Swedish Work Environment Authority seen by the radio.
In preschools, one in four employees experience noise levels so high that it is not possible to speak in a normal conversational tone for most of the day, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's latest survey.
