The contagious bacterial disease has now been confirmed among students at four schools in southeast England and in one student in London. As of Wednesday afternoon, 15 cases of epidemic meningitis had been confirmed and 12 were still under investigation, Sky News reports.
Two young women have previously died.
The outbreak has been traced to a nightclub in Canterbury in connection with a student event.
