More and more highly educated people are applying to vocational schools, according to statistics from Statistics Sweden according toSveriges Radio Ekot .
The proportion of applicants with three years of education has increased from 10 to 16 percent in ten years. At the same time, unemployment among graduates was the highest in 20 years in 2025.
"It indicates a certain hidden unemployment, you could say," says Viktor Göranson at the Akavia trade union.
