The fourth person to be detained in the case is a man in his 40s. He was detained on Friday morning.
"Currently, a total of four people are detained in the case, three of them are detained on probable grounds suspected of instigating murder and one person is detained on reasonable grounds suspected of murder," writes the Prosecution Authority in a press release.
Earlier on Friday, the prosecutor announced that three people had been arrested for involvement.
"Working around the clock"
Two of them, men in their 20s and 30s, were detained on Thursday for instigating murder. During the night, a man in his 20s was also detained, suspected of murder on reasonable grounds.
It's being worked on incredibly intensively around the clock with the investigation, and it's pleasing that it's moving forward, says police spokesperson Magnus Jansson Klarin.
Lawyer Johan Grahn represents one of the four men.
We've had interrogations during the day, and what I can say is that he denies the offense. Otherwise, I can't comment much more, but we have a hope that he will be released fairly soon, says Grahn to TT.
The investigation against a previously detained 16-year-old boy has been dropped.
"During the preliminary investigation, information has emerged that makes the person no longer suspected of the offense," says Erik Åkerlund, police area chief in Uppsala, in a press release.

The alarm about the shooting at the salon near Vaksala Square in central Uppsala came in at 5 pm on Tuesday. At the scene, three people in their 15- to 20-year-olds were found shot dead. Two of the victims were students at schools in the city. One of the boys attended elementary school, and the other boy attended high school, according to Uppsala Municipality.
