On Wednesday, Monaco was on its way to the Champions League match away against Club Brugge when the plane's air conditioning broke down. The plane became so hot that the players chose to take off their clothes.

On social media, Monaco player Jordan Teze posted a video where it was visible how teammates were sitting in their underpants and fanning themselves with paper before getting off the plane at the airport in Nice.

For safety reasons, the club decided to postpone the trip until Thursday morning.

I have never experienced anything like this, but there are circumstances you cannot influence. For us, it was a bit special and not particularly comfortable, said the team's coach Adi Hütter on Wednesday evening.

Monaco's match against Club Brugge kicks off at 18.45.
