Paul Pogba was long one of the biggest names in football. The midfielder has played for Juventus and Manchester United, among others.
But the 33-year-old has suffered several serious injuries in recent years that have kept him out of action.
Now Monaco announces that it is terminating Pogba's contract, even though there is one year left on it.
In Monaco, he made only six appearances and played a total of 105 minutes.
"Although I didn't play as many games as I would have liked, I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to represent the club," Pogba said in a statement.
Pogba was a key player in the France team that won the World Cup in 2018 and has 91 international caps to his name.
