Mellika Melouani Melani returns to the theatre with a production of Molière's "The Misanthrope", which premieres on January 30.
On March 19, Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's classic "The Threepenny Opera" will premiere, directed by Norwegian director Erik Ulfsby. Krister Kern plays Mack the Knife and Julie Moe Sandø plays Polly Peachum.
Emil Graffman will direct Ibsen's "Ghosts", which premieres on April 2, and Philip Zandén will return in a completely new production by Gabriel Itkes-Sznap. "Dead Son", about a man "between two disasters", will premiere on April 16.
Backa Theatre is staging "On Tyranny", inspired by historian Timothy Snyder's book "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century". The production will premiere in March.
