The five airspace violations occurred early Thursday morning, according to Moldovan authorities.
"We have repeatedly warned of the unacceptable risks posed by Russia's war against Ukraine. Another Russian attack on Ukraine has resulted in violations of Moldovan airspace," the Moldovan Foreign Ministry writes on X.
A drone crashed next to a highway in southern Moldova, between the capital Chisinau and the small town of Basarabeasca on the border with Ukraine. Police cordoned off the crash site on Thursday morning and called in the bomb squad, reports M1 .
