The game "A walk through Kramfors" was supposed to be launched on September 16 ahead of the Gothenburg Book Fair. But Apple said no, without clarifying what the problem was.
The game had been flagged for spam, which according to Apple's guidelines means that the app is too similar to existing apps in some way. There were also "one or more issues" that could pose risks to users in terms of security, protection or quality.
We don't get any real answers about what it is, so we've only been able to speculate, says artist Moa Romanova, who developed the game with game developer Elvira Mattsson.
The developers believe that the problem may be that you see a naked woman once, or that players have to drink a bottle of fabric softener.
When the game might be released is still unclear.
