Shortly before the start, the cross-country skiing national team announces that Moa Lundgren will miss Sunday's skiathlon in the World Cup in Lillehammer, reports Aftonbladet.
The reason is cold symptoms. Lundgren replaced Linn Svahn, who had previously cancelled due to a cold. According to the national team, no additional replacement will be called in.
Neither will Frida Karlsson start on Sunday due to injury problems. Sweden will thus only fill four of the six spots.
Norwegians Anne Kjersti Kalvå and Tiril Udnes Weng will also miss today's skiathlon competition, the Norwegian Ski Association tells TV2. They will be replaced by Marte Skaanes and Silje Øyre Slind.
