Abdoulie Manneh scored 1–0 just after a minute and 45 seconds of play. He extended his goal tally a quarter of an hour later and completed his hat-trick in the 54th minute. Manneh has now scored five goals and is in joint top scorer position in Allsvenskan.
This can be compared to the Ghanaian's first season in Allsvenskan last year when he scored two goals in total.
He's incredible. He's on target, very quick and difficult to catch, says teammate and 3–0 goal scorer Herman Johansson to Max.
Shortly after his 4–0 goal, 20-year-old Manneh was substituted.
I'm so happy. I had the feeling since yesterday that I would score the first goal at Strandvallen and that it would be a hat-trick, says Manneh to Max.
But I wouldn't have scored without my teammates.
After the third goal, he took off his jersey and hung it on the corner flag. And, of course, received a yellow card.
It was worth it, he says.
Manneh says that he will now continue to score in Allsvenskan and that Mjällby will continue on the winning track.
Mjällby is second in Allsvenskan after six rounds, on 14 points. Only AIK has managed to take more, after their win against Elfsborg on Sunday. AIK leads on 16 points.
