But Mjällby got off to a dream start. Elliot Stroud found space outside Kalmar's penalty area and made it 0-1 after just three minutes.

However, that's where the fun ended for the yellow and blacks.

Just fifteen minutes later, Kalmar's Aboubacar Keita equalised. The home side then took over in the second half and when Charles Sagoe Jr. made it 2-1, it was both logical and fair.

Mjällby did not manage a single shot on goal in the second half and the match ended 2-1 to Kalmar.

It was Mjällby's seventh consecutive winless match in the Swedish league, with the team dropping to tenth place.

But you don't get anything for free in the Allsvenskan, if you're not at your best then you lose, says Mjällby striker Jacob Bergström in TV4's broadcast.

Kalmar climbed to eleventh place.
