After the victory against Gibraltar's Lincoln Red Imps in the second qualifying round of the Champions League, it is already clear that Swedish champions Mjällby will play European football this autumn. A place in the Conference League league phase is secured.
Meanwhile, the hope of a place in the Champions League lives on. In the third qualifying round, a two-legged tie awaits against Slovakian side Slovan Bratislava, with the first match to be played at home this week and the return leg next week.
If they lose to the Slovaks, Mjällby will instead end up in the Europa League playoff, where the winner will face either Pafos from Cyprus or Salzburg from Austria.
