Mjällby crushed Värnamo 5–0 and thus extended the Allsvenskan scoring record to 72 points.
The goal celebration began with a hat trick by Mjällby's Elliot Stroud, teammates Viktor Gustafson and Alexander Johansson added more later in the second half.
The Blekinge team also has one match left, at home against Häcken on Sunday. Mjällby, who secured the Swedish Championship gold medal two weeks ago, has a chance to finish the series on 75 points with a win.
AIK and Malmö FF shared the previous Allsvenskan points record of 67 points.
Värnamo is last in the table with 16 points and is already ready for relegation to Super One.
